Nepra
“Népra is an activewear brand that makes you feel good. We create holistic, minimalist, ethical clothing to support your holistic health and wellbeing.”
“All our activewear items are designed in Finland, the fabrics come from northern Italy, and Népra activewear itself is manufactured in Estonia. We want to keep our supply chain as short as possible, and activewear produced locally is an eco-friendly choice, too.”

Organic Basics
“The fashion industry is a dirty bastard. So we put sustainable thinking at the center of everything - that means we only choose fabrics that care for our environment and we only ever partner with factories that care about their impact, too.
When we say sustainability is our core mission we don’t mean that sustainability is nice to have - we mean that it’s the only way we act.”

Patagonia
JEREMIAH WATT photographer
“The quality of Patagonia depends, to a large degree, on whether we can reduce our impact on the environment. This means auditing the materials and methods we use to make our products, taking responsibility for the entire lifecycle of our products and examining how we use resources at our buildings and facilities.”
“We believe the environmental crisis has reached a critical tipping point. Without commitments to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, defend clean water and air, and divest from dirty technologies, humankind as a whole will destroy our planet’s ability to repair itself. At Patagonia, the protection and preservation of the environment isn’t what we do after hours. It’s the reason we’re in business and every day’s work.”
“Our goal is to reduce the adverse social and environmental impacts of our products and to make sure they are produced under safe, fair, legal and humane working conditions throughout the supply chain.”

Nude
“As we love mama earth, our goal is to make the least possible impact on the planet. We do also love the people living on it and that’s why ethics are so important to us.”
“Our organic cotton is grown with no pesticides, herbicides or harmful chemicals. Organic production maintains soil fertility, reduces the use of toxic and persistent pesticides and builds biologically diverse agriculture.”

Environment ~ Clean Oceans
Our journey begins in collaboration with Healthyseas.org, an NGO that collects ghost fishing nets from the oceans and protects its biodiversity. The fabric technology used in all our garments is developed by Econyl.com that processes the nets and post consumer waste into a regenerated yarn. The result is a high quality durable material that is twice as strong. Also, we do not send packages in priority mail to keep a low environmental footprint.
Social ~ Empowering women
Women in developing countries are the most disadvantaged without financial services for females. Gender inequality promotes poverty: 60% of chronically hungry people are women & girls. According to the United Nations, when women are able to gain incomes, money is more likely to be spent on nutrition, housing and education, consequently children and communities thrive. By investing 100% of our profits in business loans for women, financial independence is allowed leading women and their families to a brighter future. We collaborate with LendwithCare.org to provide loans and business training to female entrepreneurs, enabling them to break generational cycles of poverty. All our garments are named after the inspiring women we support and all their incredible stories are shared here.
Circular Economy
As the world’s only not-for-profit swim and active wear brand, we are committed to a circular economy business model, a restorative approach in each step: Clean oceans by using regenerated waste ~ Slow design multi functional active and swimwear ~ We use digital and certified printing methods so the amount of ink and fabric are used efficiently ~ Zero waste approach, packaging or tags to the strictly necessary ~ We re-claim used swimwear and other stretch fabrics to re-use, so help us close the loop and send us your unused stretch items to get 5% off on your next RubyMoon piece ~ We convert the net profits into business loans for disadvantaged female entrepreneurs ~ Once the money is returned, we reinvest it in production so that we can keep our excellent standards and empower more women.
